Berggasse 19

description

Berggasse 19 is a conceptual ebook project that takes the user through a mock Freudian therapy session. The name Berggasse 19 is derived from the Venetian address of Sigmund Freud's practice of psychoanalytic theory. The user is theoretically able to check in, speak into the application, and document their progress. The challenge of this project was in creating an eerie and suspenseful experience for the user. The images are from documented photographs of Freud's office and have been altered and transformed into engaging interactive elements.

Eat St. Digital Cookbook

description

This is a digital cookbook project I worked on over the summer as a co-op, with fellow classmate, Kieran Wallace at Emily Carr University for the tv show, Eat St, through Invoke Media and Paperny Entertainment.

Made using InDesign and Adobe Digital Publishing Suite, this app looks at the vendors of the featured food trucks from season 3 of the tv show and their unique recipes. We designed this book with Eat St.,'s fun and lively existing brand in mind and used interactivity wherever possible.

Berggasse 19

description

For this assignment, myself and Nicola Fuller were to create an e-book using a selected text of our choosing that fell under selected topics one of which was Psychology. We chose Sigmund Freud as the basis for the project. Instead of just re-making a book into a digital form we decided to use various texts about Freud and his theories and created an ebook that would follow a patient through a therapy session with Freud. The e-book was created using InDesign and Adobe Digital Publishing Suite for interactivity.
