Faux 3D environment in After Effects.
First time messing around in AE after about three years! I'm officially in love with it now.
I had fun with this, although the file ended up being huge and I couldn't upload it anywhere, so I had to super compress it. Oh well, lesson learned I guess.

Final project for 2D Animation II at ECUAD
We had to animate to an interview with one of our classmates talking about their hair. Also, our characters had to be monsters! So much fun and so many good ideas :D
Anyway, it was really fun to make, and I'm quite happy with how it's looking.

This Pokemon character was modeled and rendered using the program, Autodesk Softimage. Transferring this popular 2D character into three dimensions meant playing with shape, form and curviture. Once rendered on screen, I was able to have the character printed three-dimensionally in plastic. After some sanding and painting, this "Farfetch'd" character is ready for the shelf of any collector.

Under the heading of "character design" I try to lead by example. I try to put the right line of action, balance, voumes, silhouette, planes, expression and exaggeration into this guy, from both a softball enthusiast, as well as an animator.
