Swirl
description
Swirl is a ceramic set consisting of a decanter and two glasses for wine. The form imitates the swirling motion occuring between the human hand and the red wine in the glass. The design of the glasses allows red wine to escape through the circular pathway if the user is too tipsy to pay attention when drinking.

description
An extention from the series Crumple, Cinderella explores the idea of craft. How collectors value pottery with the artist's finger print at the bottom, a peice of the process, an identity. How would that compare to an entire handprint?

vessels
description
vessels is an exploration of shape, repetition and functionality (or lack thereof). These pieces, slipcast in various shades of grey, represent the same shape repeated in multiplied form, over and over. Vessels is, overall, a commentary on the design process and the constant need for function. As a designer it was interesting to try deliberately to create a series that defied function and instead focus solely on form and aesthetic.
