"Billig" the DIY Desk Lamp
Made out of a single piece of cardboard that folds up into your pocket Billig allows you to transform a bike light into a simple desktop lamp. The simple instructions are made available online for anyone to use. Billig which is Swedish for "cheap" is a play on the IKEA sterotype of furniture.
Delusional Space

The group project was to create a space with cardboard that evokes a certain emotion and can also be flat-packed for transport. Our group focused on the confusion and optical illusions. Exploring origami and packaging techniques, we filled the space with 3D pop-up optical illusions. This space visually interacts with its audience as they move around to see it in different point of views and creates confusion.

CONCEPT A spacial environment designed for one person that elicits a specific emotion or mood. DEVELOPMENT In collaboration with two others we mocked up miniature versions of our design before venturing to full scale corrugated cardboard. We also worked on creating an overwhelming emotion of ëconfusioní from both inside and outside the spacial environment.
an evocative space
description
The objective of this project was to build a cardboard space that evoked an emotion. Working in a team, we explored the emotion of fear, and were inspired by the Panopticon and ideas of surveillance.
Our space is an asymmetrical pyramid featuring two viewports. Interacting with the space allowed viewers to observe the person in the structure, without the person being able to identify who is watching them.
