Tête à Tête
description
In collaboration with Neil McMillan and Nicola Fuller, Tête à Tête is an installation we designed during our internship at lululemon lab in Vancouver.
Inspired by vintage sports, retro graphics and nostalgic varsity elements, Tête à Tête represents design that gets people moving. As part of our installation, we had a few takeaways for our store guests. These included coasters, scoresheets and buttons.

In collaboration with Neil McMillan and Nicola Fuller, Polyhedra is an installation we designed during our internship at lululemon lab in Vancouver.
Inspired by the store concept: we connect, we create, we make, Polyhedra represents designers coming together to connect ideas with the community of Vancouver. As part of our installation, we had a few takeaways for our store guests. These included sheets of paper for people to make their own polyhedras at home, buttons and fabric bookmark / store business cards.
Clean Hands for Health
description
Research project involving development of co-creation techniques. The motive was to increase hand washing compliancy within hospital staff. Our solution was to install large (8'x4') pillars in hospital entrances that foot traffic, both hospital staff and visitors, would have to navigate. On the pillars is a pledge to wash one's hands each time they come into contact with a patient, as well as when entering and exiting the hospital. Passers by would sign the pillar with a whiteboard marker, providing visual encouragement to all who follow.
Further encouragement was provided by hospital gowns featuring an illustration of a hand sanitizer dispenser, the Microsan logo replaced by our slogan, "Every Time".

Kinetic Floating Pixels
description
Kinetic floating pixels is an interactive, kinetic light installation made up of an array of moving helium balloons that merges the physical and virtual words in a fun and playful experience.
Visitors are able to choose and control the position of several large balloons and change the colours of individual balloons though an avatar. To operate the avatar a participant stands in the installation space and is tracked by a 3D imaging camera that positions the avatar relative to their body. Visitors are able to trigger waves and other patterns with the balloons, as well as change colours.
This reflexive engagement of the physical and virtual provides playful experience as peoples virtual actions manifest themselves in reality.
