Sleepscapes
description
There is a forgotten simplicity and serene beauty associated
with the transient, sleeping body. This project captures the
physical body in relation to the time spent in sleep. The concept
plays with the notion of sleep as a fleeting experience by means
of patterns or trails left behind in a sleeping time frame; these
patterns communicate the evidence of hours lost in memory in
congruence with the stationary body.
Type Weave
description
Typography is like fabric. It is the weaving in and out of various typefaces, weight, and spacing, to essentially form aesthetically pleasing and legible content, let it be display or body texts.
"Type Weave" is a self-directed project, which uses a metaphorical approach to help us understand the characteristics of some common typefaces. A type of fabric is juxtaposed with a typeface based on similar characteristics and attitude.
