System design for extend the value of historical reclaimed material.

Moving Vancouver towards a zero waste future is going to require changing behaviours and changing the system. In order to reach the target of reducing landfill waste 50% by 2020,changing behaviour will be mandatory - to do deconstruction rather than demolition. Which leads to another question, what can we do other than sending salvage material to recycle center? Each house has its own story, to build up the rich history for Vancouver and continue the store.
