Mr. Sandwich

description

Mr. Sandwich was a vending style sandwich machine designed to bring healthy food to people on the go, or who just love the taste of a fresh home-made sandwich.  This project was done while I was on exchange at KHB in Berlin, Germany. We were given a "new" type of robotic arm that was designed by local PTZ University, and our task was to find an application for it. Many of the projects done at my school were very heavily based on designing around a given technology.

Primary research involved me making and eating sandwiches.

Exchange by the Numbers

images

description

This infographic poster was created using data collected about the designer for one week. It largely focuses on the changes occurring in her life during this week due to moving to a new city. The visual style pokes fun at the idea of making an information graphic about subjective data, but presenting it as scientific fact. It has been featured on Datavis.

Czech it Out: Student Guide Book to Prague

description

This book was done on my exchange to Prague. Throughout my stay there, I found there were many little secrets to getting around that would have been helpful to know from the beginning.  Czech it out is currently being used at VSUP as a guide book for exchange students arriving in Prague.
