SASS Canada Re-brand

description

This project involved re-branding the not-for-profit organization SASS Canada (School Alliance of Student Songwriters Canada), a network of co-curricular songwriting clubs for youth. They seek to encourage young people by giving them the opportunity to express themselves through music in a safe and supportive environment.

It was essential to create a brand that evoked the qualities and values of the organization, while maintaining an energetic, youthful, fun, inspiring and engaging message and tone.

Quickdraw Animation Society Re-Brand

images

description

For this project I re-branded the Quickdraw Animation Society, the brand messaging was 'set your story in motion.' The flipping pages in the 'Q' represent traditional animation, as well as story telling. As for colors I wanted to go with a bright color pallette to appeal more to their youthful audience. Lastly, I created a letterhead, business cards, compliment cards, and an envelope acording to the brand aesthetic.

Access 2011 conference

description

Access is a prominent Canadian librarian conference. It is where librarians converge to talk about sharing information and data to the general public. Access 2011 was hosted in Vancouver. This project was a collaboration between Sarah Kozlowski and myself.

Our concept for the identity looks to older traditions and how they have been updated with a contemporary twist, to compliment a similar trend currently occuring in libraries. Our main inspiration was the crafting movement, specifically cross stitching. These librarians are taking information from our past and making it contemporary, much like artisans.
