Prescription Drug Label Redesign

files

description

My 4th year senior design project, which aims to re-design the way we handle prescription drug labeling in Canada.

Inspired by Deborah Adler and her journey to design a new drug container and label as her major thesis project. I decided to set out to do a similar project for use in Canada.

The main redesign focuses on keeping everything low cost and easy for adoption. The design utilizes a similar footprint as the current drug labels being printed, but now there is a heirarchy established through contrast in type weight and size.

All these simple changes combine in a big way to make reading drug labels much simpler and streamlined.

Information where you want it, when you need it.

CAFAD Logo Redesign

images

description

This project was about the branding process for a company or organization. A redesign of the logo for the Canadian Association of Fine Arts Deans. The concept was; spark, grow, and soar, to represent students, teachers, and deans. Though each element (wing, leaf, flame) are seperate, they come together as a whole creating the look of a maple leaf.

BC Children's Hospital Website Redesign

description

The final project for a Third Year Design Core class presented the opportunity to work with BC Children's Hospital. This group project was done with Vince Lo and Kirsty Tsang. As a team, we wanted to create a campaign that highlighted BCCH's ability to be present throughout every stage of a patients journey (Before, During & After).

This extensive project not only focused on a renewal of BCCH's website, but a thorough look into how technology can bring new opportunities for better health care.

Some of our proposals included an online fill out form to cut back on paper work and make the sign process faster.
