Abraided is an exploration of the fraught tension that can occur when combining strength and fragility by using aircraft plywood for domestic object development. The finished product considers balance, repetition and irony. It is deigned for user assembly, and can be flat-packed into an 11x17 envelope for shipping and distribution.
Mui

The water catching ridged cement bottom is a salute to the rainy city of vancover, in harmony with the beautiful outdoors.
Mui is an umbrella holder I produced in co-operation with international designers Hamza Omari and Omar Qubain. We chose the name Mui, because in arabic it means rain.
Mui was sold in a local furniture boutique 18KARAT

Uhu is a functional and easy to use coat hook that also includes a storage space for small items. It is an elegant accent to the home environment.
The focus for this course was to create a marketable object for efficient production with close consideration for quality and cost effectiveness.

To design this children-centered toy, research was done on child psychology, toy safety, and toddler's interests. This was designed to facilitate toddler learning of shape recognition, weight differentiation, and color recognition.

Mindin is inspired by a Scottish custom that is celebrated with the exchange of small gifts. The tradition known as First Footing, is celebrated today as a quiet ushering in of the New Year. Taken from the form of cupped hands, this vessel is ideal for small treasures.
