Under the heading of "character design" I try to lead by example.  I try to put the right line of action, balance, voumes, silhouette, planes, expression and exaggeration into this guy, from both a softball enthusiast, as well as an animator.

In a late summer landscape where trees and grass grow amidst industrial decay, a rusted autombile muffler flounders in a stream struggling for breath, while a stainless steel kitchen pot flies playfully through the air. This piece is an expression of the desire for harmony, within oneself and within one's environment, and the play of tensions between the body and mind.

An animation in which I explore moving patterns, the cycles in life, and what happens in graveyards when no one's looking.

Final project for XSI Essentials with Thomas Groppi.

Based on a location at the corner of Robson and Granville, this flythrough demonstrates what happens when someone who loves building maquettes decides to see how many polys XSI can crunch and still run smoothly.

The end result is a fully modeled chain-link fence topped with a double helix of barbed wire that weighs in at 656k triangles.
