Zaha Hadid monograph
description
An exploration of the works of Pritzker Prize–winning architect Zaha Hadid through the physical properties of print.
A distinctive size, multiple paper stocks, and a non-rectangular cover add a tactility suggestive of Hadid's architecture; the content is presented in a way that forces the reader to turn the publication to continue.
Hiatus
description
"So stellar have Lauryn Hill's accomplishments been during her brief tenure as musical artist, one wonders what she can do to match all that's happened in her life so far."
Hiatus is a monograph on Hill's success and decade-long hiatus, with articles from various sources that documented her activities up-to-date. A flipbook.
Architecture in Vancouver
description
This was a Monograph project, where my subject matter was Architecture in Vancouver. The book featured 4 landmarks, including Waterfall Building, Simon Fraser University, Library Square, and the Convention Center.
Marc Jacobs Monograph
description
These two books were designed in reaction to an article written about fashion designer Marc Jacobs and his perspective on runway models.
The first book is a written article with imagery that corresponds to it. The second book goes through a series of Marc Jacobs' collection over 5 years. The second book strongly reflects what he talks about in the first booklet.
WWF Campaign
description
A poster series for WWF, a non-profit organization. Raising awareness of the endangered species was the focus.
The image is comical in that the scenario is ridiculous; however, it is an accurate reflection of how many view the what it takes to preserve wildlife. It is a wake up call, greater action must be taken.
