At under 180 square feet, the space is divided into four distinct quadrants, but encourages users to slide open windows and doors, blurring the line between indoor and outdoor space.
Centered: Souvenir Gift Box for the Pan Pacific Hotel

Centered is a souvenir gift box designed for the Pan Pacific hotel.
The box is made to serve candy or desserts within the hotel, then be taken home by the guest as a souvenir. The design fits the upscale setting of the Pan Pacific hotel, as well as being a unique gift.
Featured on the outside of the box are vignettes of iconic Vancouver elements. These include fir trees, waves, mountains, an orca, and the Inukshuk.
For easy packing the box flattens out and fits into an 11x17" envelope.
Tesselo: Tesselating children's toy

Tesselo is a tesselating children's toy designed for dynamic play and sustainability.
Tesselo is a set of wooden puzzle blocks with characters. It can be used as a matching game, building blocks, or a puzzle game.
Materials and Production: using laser cutting and tesselating shapes to minimize waste and take advantage of scrap wood from larger industrial processes. The toy could be produced in any amount to create larger or smaller sets. The toy is painted with non toxic clay based paints and finished with food safe shellac.

The goal of this project is to introduce new life into a previously unused rooftop space. By designing outdoor benches and planters we hope to inject a sense of comfort and meaning to the space, while maintaining the distinct architectural style of the existing rooftop.
