The second ideration of Node, made with aircraft ply and fashioned so that the user can easily adjust the amount of light that is hitting their workspace by changing the tention of the pullcord coming out of the bottom of 'node'.
Capitalized Phrases in 1984
description
This poster was done for a typography class with Celeste Martin. It involved sourcing content from amazon.com about a book of our choice; in my case I chose to look at capitalized phrases in 1984 by George Orwell. What you see is actually a photograph of laser-cut typography, which was then manipulated in photoshop and reflected. I wanted the 'tone' of the poster to be dark and imposing like the subject matter of the book.

The Zodiac Herb Garden Kit is a first semester grad project. The kit ecourages gardening newbies to get involved in the urban agriculture movement by first growing a personalized indoor herb garden.
A series of 12, each kit contains the seeds of herbs that have useful properties that are particularly affecting for people of specific star signs. For example, the kit featured here is The Libra Garden and contains Lemon Balm, Bergamot, and Thyme seeds.
Each kit contains the seeds, wood plant labels, and a booklet that provides simplified instruction on how to successfully grow the herbs from seed, as well as information about the medicinal properties of each herb and the ways you can use them.
Lithium
description
A ready to assemble desk lamp that uses photovoltaic cells, otherwise known as solar cells, to store energy in lithium-ion batteries for light. No hardware or glue is necessary as the parts are tension fitted. They can be assembled in a matter of minutes and can be flat packed for delivery.
Components were produced by a CNC machine and a laser cuttter.

Displaced habitats references the form and scale of a piece of firewood. This form is conceived of through digital rendering and machine made cuts into manufactured wood. Through these processes the piece of wood takes on a new machine identity. The piece of firewood is re-presented as an artifact of manufacturing.
