Locker Clean-out Dates

1st, 2nd and 3rd year students must empty their lockers by Sunday, April 21 at 11:00pm.

4th year students must empty their lockers by Monday, May 6 at 11:00pm.

Any contents remaining in lockers after the deadlines will be disposed of accordingly.

Getting here

By Transit

The Emily Carr campus is centrally located between two Skytrain stations. It’s a 13 minute walk from Main Street-Science World station on the Expo Line, and a 12 minute walk from VCC Clark on the Millennium Line.And, the No. 84 bus goes right by our doors.

By Bicycle

Did you know that our new campus is located on the Central Valley Greenway?

Bike racks are located at the NE and SW entrances. Two enclosed, covered bike cages are located at the east and west sides of the campus, and bike lockers can be found at the north side of the campus. Showers and change rooms are on the ground floor, with day use lockers available.

Visitors and short-term bike parking:
Bikeracks are available at our East entrance, by the Wilson Arts Plaza.

By Vehicle

Parking passes can be purchased from Finance and picked up in the Facilities office with a valid receipt. Paid parking is available by semester. More details can be obtained from the Facilities office.

Electric vehicle charging stations and carpool spaces are available.

Visitors and short-term parking:
There is limited metered street parking as well as ticketed lot parking available, view the Parking Map.

Car Share

EVO cars are available at 1802 Thornton Street, just outside the Equinox Gallery.

Food, dining and more

Eating at Emily Carr

The Caf has a patio with views of the North Shore mountains and is located on the main floor, adjacent to the Library, Students' Union and Staff Lounge.

Loafe Mini, a coffee kiosk, is located at the southeast entrance on the ground floor and offers pizza and other pre-prepared foods, as well as specialty hot beverages and bottled drinks.

Food trucks

Food trucks can be found on the North side of the Centre for Digital Media (577 Great Northern Way). Service is typically from 11:30AM to 2:00PM. See this week's Food Truck Schedule on our Notice Board.

Eating and more close to campus

The Emily Carr campus is located close to the Mount Pleasant and Olympic Village neighborhoods. Breweries, restaurants, galleries, cafes and parks are all available within a 15 minute walk.
