Certificate Programs
Certificate Programs
Continuing Studies offers three different kinds of short-term certificate programs:
- Introductory Certificates in Fine Art Techniques, 2D Design Basics, 3D Design Basics, and Photography are comprised of Continuing Studies courses designed to give you the skills and insight to meet the challenges of further study, or to apply specific knowledge to your career. These Certificates can be completed on a part-time, flexible basis in under three years.
- Advanced Study Certificates in Drawing, Painting, Illustration, Sculpture and Graphic Novel (new) offer a more in-depth study of a specific medium. The core courses explore foundational studio skills, cultural studies, professional development and individual portfolio support. A key aspect of the Certificate is the final required portfolio course, where students are given one-on-one support towards developing a professional portfolio. These Certificates can be completed on a part-time, flexible basis in under four years.
- The Essentials are intensive programs that focus on gaining the creative experience and technical knowledge to enter industry, job ready. Our graduates enter creative fields of communication design, web design, web development and mobile application development.
