Passwords must be:
- a minimum 13 characters long
- alphanumeric with special character
We recommend choosing a relatively long phrase that is easy for you to remember, but hard for the computers to guess, such as "Sunset-Comes-to-Arctic-Early-Winter”.

• ECU Email: Your ECU email gives you access to important updates and resources from instructors and staff. Log in at https://email.ecuad.ca. Make sure to log in before your course and check it regularly. Note: It may take up to 24 hours after registration for your account to be activated.
• M365: This provides additional tools for learning. For more info, visit this website.
  
• Moodle: ECU's virtual learning platform has everything you need for your courses, including instructor contacts, Zoom links, and study materials. Log in at https://courses.ecuad.ca.

Your Emily Carr OneCard is your student ID. You need it to enter campus areas, use printers, and borrow from the library. If you're studying online or already have a OneCard, skip this step.

1. Go to myphoto.ecuad.ca.
2. Log in with your username (without @ecuad.ca) and password.
3. Follow instructions to upload your photo.

Upload your photo by Monday to get your OneCard by Wednesday of the same week. There is no fee for reprinted cards, but don't reprint unnecessarily. For reprint OneCard request, please contact csonecard@ecuad.ca. You will not be able to upload a new photo into the myphoto site. IMPORTANT: Reprinting your OneCard will deactivate your current card when the new one prints.

Enter through the main (South) entrance. The Security Office is on the left, behind the Information Desk. Call security using the phone by the office if no one is available.

MyEC is our student information portal. You can see your schedule, update contacts, download tax forms and view grades.

To login:

2. Log in with your Student Account Information (see Step 1 above)

Navigate options on the left side of the web app to view your student details.

Your registration confirmation email includes your username.

1. please reach out to IT Services using the Authentication Assistance form and include your personal email address as a contact
2. IT Services will email you a temporary password that you must reset.

For our online learning community, your Course Moodle will be available the day of your course. If you don't see you course Moodle, please reach out to your instructor through your ECU email. Find your instructor's ECU email by typing their name in the To field in your Outlook browser.
