Introductory Creative Writing (CESE 108)

Merging creativity with technique, this course introduces various forms of contemporary creative writing practices. Examining narrative structures, character development, language and voice, you will explore genres such as fiction, poetry, and creative non fiction. Learn how creative writing can integrate with other visual art and design practices, toward exciting, experimental and interdisciplinary projects. With dynamic writing prompts and exercises alongside peer and instructor feedback, this course can help you workshop writing ideas and expand your creative literary potential.

Instructional Hours: 24 hours (8 classes, 3 hours per class)
