Branding + Identity Design (CECD 200)
Branding presents a consistent message or personality to an audience, and represents the what, how and why of a business. This course introduces visual identity creation, implementation and maintenance through explorations of brand identity concepts and principles. Research, assignments, critiques and discussions encourage a holistic understanding of a brand’s visual and corporate identity, and demonstrates how a brand continues to grow.

Instructional Hours: 24 (8 classes, 3 hours per class)
Additional Hours: up to 24 hours for independent study and practice, assignment completion and homework.

- CECD 100 Introductory Communication Design and CECD 102 Colour Theory for Designers required; or equivalent experience.
