Rapid Visualization and Product Rendering (CEID 160)
Rapid visualization is a systematic and effective way to draw imaginary 3D objects and concepts. Applicable to animation, communication design, industrial design, illustration, architecture, furniture design, and interior design, rapid visualization helps to expand visual thinking, create new ideas, communicate concepts and to solve design problems. This course introduces you to the methods, techniques and media to produce accurately proportioned freehand sketches and basic renderings. Principles of perspective, projection, light, shade, reflection and texture are examined, including demonstrations of approaches and techniques.
